Freak the Mighty is a great book and film version for young learners and teens. I used it with my own Grade 4 students and they just loved it. They identified strongly with Kevin and Max. Also see our other full movie recommendation for teaching – BIG. Go HERE for many teaching resources in PDF for the book.
