With the pandemic and so many teachers now teaching remotely, it is even more difficult for teachers to assess their students’ English language fluency at the beginning of a course or the school year.
We have designed a free solution – a quick 15 question, adaptive English placement test with grammar, vocabulary and listening components.
Students take the test (must be completed within 5 minutes) and then can email the results to their teacher or download a certificate with their CEFR level recorded and then share this with their teacher (upload to a class Google drive).
We will be continuing to refine the test. As we get a higher number of people taking the test, it will be adapted according to the configuration of these results.
Try it out! Just one of the many solutions we are helping English language teachers with during these unique teaching times! See our teaching resources platform for more digital solutions.
